At Toronto Pearson International Airport, a Delta Airlines airliner flips upside down, injuring eighteen people, one of them gravely.

On Monday, a Delta Airlines aircraft crashed into Toronto Pearson International Airport, eventually landing upside down on the runway. Following the upside-down crash of Flight 4819, Toronto Pearson International Airport has reported that “all passengers and crew are accounted for.”
Eighteen individuals, including a kid, were reported hurt when emergency personnel raced to the site. One passenger was claimed to have suffered “critical with non-life-threatening injuries,” while seven others had moderate to mild injuries.
The immediate aftermath of the incident is now captured in a widely shared video on X (previously Twitter), which shows smoke emerging from the fuselage and the Delta plane upside down on the runway. Our plane crashed, and we just landed in Toronto. A passenger captured the sight and narrated it, saying, “It’s upside down… most people are going to be okay, we’re all getting off.”
All passengers are safe after Delta Flight 4819 crashes at Toronto Pearson.
All passengers and flight crew successfully departed the aircraft, according to law enforcement officials. Discussions on industrial safety have heated up in the wake of many air traffic incidents in North America that resulted in devastating losses in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
The airport issued a public statement after the crash landing acknowledging the incident. It reiterated that “all passengers and crew are accounted for” and stated that “emergency teams are responding.”
Several travelers were sent to nearby medical facilities. At the airport, GTAA employees assist passengers’ relatives.
“Aware of reports of Endeavor Flight 4819 operating from Minneapolis/St. Paul to Toronto-Pearson International Airport as involved in an incident,” Delta Airlines said in a statement addressing the matter.
“I’m relieved that there are no casualties following the incident at Toronto Pearson,” said Premier Doug Ford of Ontario.
“Provincial officials will offer any assistance that is required and are in communication with the airport and local authorities.”
